You fall asleep not once, but twice when you are trying to turn on "Dora de Bora", a show saved on your DVR, for your two-year old.
You answer the door with your shirt raised from breast-feeding, exposing your still squishy tummy, and love-handles... you know, the beautiful side of motherhood.
You fall asleep while putting the two-year old to bed, and wake up 2 hours later when you hear the garage door close, because your company has slipped out. Nice hostess-ing!

My mom left yesterday... not really our Happiest Easter. So this week begins our adjustment into real life, well kind of, I guess. Greg has the week off for Mapleton's Spring Break, so I guess well EASE into Real Life.
Macy is a very sweet, mellow baby. Tyson is quite the opposite as he has fully embraced his TWOs. Tyson honestly LOVES his "baby Mace". He talks so sweet to her and is sad when she cries. He also, honestly LOVES ignoring his mom and dad. He prances around the house like the little Prince that he is... only acknowledging us if it is convenient for him... Unfortunately for him, his grace period is officially over. He got two weeks to adjust just like the rest of us-- Hopefully we all survive this week :) We miss you Grammie!
HAPPY [TWO-WEEK] BIRTHDAY, BABY MACE!
My sister-in-law Krystal did this photo growth tracking with her youngest, and I thought I'd give it a try. Now, my object of reference is a little abnormal, but I don't have a doll (yet), so we are using a LARGE pink bunny.

ADORABLE! Oh my goodness! She is an angel, I can just tell by looking at her. I hope that you are adjusting without your mom! We just had my mom and when she left I LOST it... literally. Im not sure how Ill do when she leaves after our baby comes.
That's a great idea with the photo growth tracking. I'm glad she's a mellow baby. I wish the same for myself when we have #2:)
