On my WINTER BREAK:
- I shoveled our walkway and driveway for the first time... Not too bad since I did it before the snow melted (advice given to me by my husband who was out of town for three days. More advice from him: DO NOT drive on the driveway with snow on it; that makes shoveling VERY difficult--thus, the real reason I shoveled... not because I wanted the exercise).
- I shoveled our driveway (forget the walkway--crossed my fingers for no visitors) for the second time in a day. Cursed Greg for being gone during the snow storm. Wished I had snow boots and a nice warm jacket.
- Ended up shoveling the walk 3 1/2 times that day... why did I have to leave so much! Ended up calling Greg 4 times to tell him how much work I had done :)
- Turned 27. Seriously... am I that close to 30 ALREADY!!
- Celebrated Christmas with my little family. Loved the excitement in Tyson's eyes when he opened his 4-wheelers, helicopters and airplanes.
- Cried because I realized how BIG he is going to seem in a few months when a new little baby enters our home.
- Heard the pitter-patter of little feet running across the floor into my bedroom early one morning. (Tyson has mastered the crib escape.) Laughed with Greg as Tyson came in our room and announced that he got out! and "came down a see mommy and daddy in da morning!"
- Took Tyson sledding for the first time.
- WATCHED family play Rock Band, because I know what my talents are, and singing/playing instruments is not one of them.
- Wished that my sister lived closer so that our kids could play together more often.
- Went to the Dr., got a second ultra sound, and found out that the little Miss ALREADY HAS HAIR (I was hoping she'd be like my boy!), and that my placenta has moved into the proper location for a normal v*ginal delivery. YEA! Just reached the 30 week mark! 10 to go, 8 if you are a positive thinker :)
This REALLY will be the last nakee shot--Greg was too quick at turning off the camera after the shot--and of course, could not be persuaded to take another quick shot for the blog... so this is what he gets.. My white largness on the Internet for all to see.
- Didn't blog once :) I am sad about that decision now...so are you!

oh my gosh you are so tiny for 30 weeks, you punk that is just not fair I look like that at like 16 weeks. That was a killer snow storm... and after hearing that you got to, well maybe not got to, shovel the drive way I should stop my complaining about gene making me park in the street and walk up to the house before he shoveled. Also congrats on turning 27... I realized when I was putting birthday's on the calendar that I was turning 27 in two months and I had to count back to when I was born just to make sure I was right, can you believe we are that old (I don't feel old I don't even feel like I'm an official adult yet) Oh well life goes on. I'm glad things are on track for a regular birth, I'm sure that must be a relief.
If I were to take a pic of my tummy right now, I would get a larger more unattractive version of what your sweet little 30-week belly looks like right now. But thats OK, I can deal with it. We are all different I guess. I happened to notice a glimpse of a new TV and cabinet in the shot too? That's great, I know you guys were looking for one. I was hoping that the rock band wasn't playing in front of an empty wall in the previous pic.
I miss you, and hope you find a wicked Table for your beautiful kitchen.
Noel, it was so fun to read your latest entry and catch up on you guys. Wish we all lived closer. Snow makes it a pain to travel in winter. I totally feel your pain about shovelling....no fun. One day the other week we got 7 inches in one day Crazy! And, we are so excited for you guys and the new little arrival that will come so soon. Good luck with all those fun last weeks of "pregoness" (by the way you are so tiny you carry it so well) :) Happy New Year. Love you guys! Hope the delivery goes smoothly and looking forward to seeing the baby pics.
PS Spencer is very excited he can go to Moab this year.
We really dont ever shovel snow before leaving. You are a good wife, and being pregnant, brave. Matt told me not to shovel snow when I am prego because he doesnt want me to fall and have a miscarriage. So no shoveling for me this winter. YAY! and I cannot believe Ty getting out of the that crib. when does he get a big boy bed?
glad you're back.
i love the video, so funny. and, it is amazing how big they seem once you have a new little one, enjoy the next few weeks of an only child.
Rock Band might not be your specialty, but looking smokin' hot when you're pregnant sure is:) That's awesome that you have the crib break on camera. He's got great gross motor skills!
Noel, Ty is such a handsome boy! He really is getting so big. I will NOT show that video of him climbing out of his crib to KAte....I don't want her getting ANY ideas!
