Daddy's Boy??

The norm in our house is that Tyson loves Greg while I am close by. He doesn’t hate being with his Da-da, he just (at times) gets a little too concerned with my whereabouts to enjoy the father-son bonding. We did see a different side to him, however, this weekend. Tyson spent the ENTIRE morning outside with Greg. First they mowed the lawn, then they changed the oil in the truck (Tyson's favorite BIG toy). Greg loved having a little buddy outside. I went out to check on them after an hour, and Tyson could not have been happier. It was very cute to see. Hopefully Tyson does grow up to be just like his daddy. I can’t think of anyone else I’d like him to be. Greg is super handy (among MANY other things) and those mad skills have been so nice to have around, especially being in school (i.e. poor) for so long.

This is the face I got when I came out to check on them. I am just so glad I had my camera ready. He was sooo excited to show me all of his daddy's tools.

He picked up these pliers, and never let them go. I am glad he never fell on them.

Now for the Oil Change...Greg really was telling him about those socket-wrenches...MY FAVORITE SHOT OF THE DAY!

This last picture is sooo classic~! I bathed Tyson, and had Greg dress him for some reason, then Greg took a shower, and came out dressed oh, so matchy-matchy with Tyson (whom, let us not forget, he had dressed)! I make such a big deal, because G has made me change on numerous occasions if we are too matchy. So the evil eyes in this picture are because I had just mocked him for dressing Tyson, then putting that shirt on too!

It was a PERFECT ending to their super-bonding day.
