Macers moved to her BIG GIRL BED! This is always so strange for me to let my "baby" move a little closer to independence. Macy did not love her bed the first night, but after Dad joined her for a night, she decided it was okay. Now she does love it. She also loves yelling from the top of the stairs that she "is OUT!" when she wakes up and gets out of bed.
Macy also began lactating (apparently). I was headed to the bathroom and heard Macy ask her baby if she was hungry, so I grabbed the camera and captured her first breast-feeding experience. Now, we see this ALL the time. She even does it in her Nursery class at Church.
Mace is VERY sweet to her new brother. There is no jealousy at all towards him--Only toward me (because I get to hold him all day long--if only she was older and a little less clumsy. She could be really helpful to me!). She just wants me and Greg to leave her alone and let her take care of her brother, aka-her baby. We were worried about her adjustment to the baby, but she had done fabulously. She knows where all of his paraphernalia is and is happy to get me anything I need for him.

Tyson has done great as well. He feels a bit more attention deprived, however. I guess when you are the first, you are the only child who will ever know what its like to get ALL of the attention and affection of your parents. He loves Hudson very much, too. He told us when we got home from the hospital that he didn't like the name we chose. Greg and I though, oh boy, here comes the Cooper talk (Tyson and Greg wanted to name the baby cooper--clearly, they lost that battle!)-- But instead he said, "I think we should call him Little Bug all snug in a rug". And so we do.
We also moved up in the vehicle department. Poor Greg will have his T-100 for a little while longer. I guess I only moved up in the line out of necessity. I did love my wagon... Here is Macy making her farewell drive before the car was gone. We got a Sequoia, which I love. I feel like a real-live mom now in that big ole thing. I told Greg we need at least 2 more kids now. He says one
I guess the last thing that happened in December is that I turned 29--- YIKES! I feel too young to be 29 :) Happy 2011 Everyone!
