Sunny Day!

It has been so dreary here in Florida the past few days. It has, literally, rained all day and night for two days straight. It was pretty stormy last night, but surprisingly, we woke up to small streams of sunshine trying to break through the lingering clouds. What a welcomed sight! I think I have taken the sun for granted. I feel so much more alive when He (the sun) is out and about. Greg reminds me that he lived in near darkness for almost two years while he served his mission in the Czech Republic. (Apparently it is very foggy and rainy there--I wouldn't know--Hopefully I can attest to that fact one day). He likes the sun too. Maybe that's why we liked Las Vegas so much.

Anyhoo. Something else that makes me happy is Tyson in blue. I am working those eyes, man. He has moved right on up to 12-18 month clothes, which is fun for me. He stayed in his 6-12 month clothes for too long. I needed a little change. It is going to be sad when he stays in the same clothes all year long. I am feeling rather shallow right now, as it really does make me happy to put outfits together (Greg would die if he knew I was putting Tyson in "outfits"), and to dress my boy. This picture is from when I was changing out all of TyTy's clothes. To entertain him, I gave him the tags that I had taken off his new clothes. He was very entertained to say the least.

More of my depth (or the lack thereof) will become apparent as I let you all know that I was counting down the days until I could put Tyson in his blue-button up for church and those DARLING brown pants. Maybe a little premature as he looks to be slightly swimming in these clothes--but he likes the water!

PS- I am convinced that the only reason Greg took the above picture is because his brother was in town--otherwise you still might not believe that I exist.
